Lucerne is also known as the living food. It is among the richest sources of nutrition in the world.
Lucerne contains more vitamins, minerals, amino acids and numerous other high-quality nutrients than any other plant.

Most important properties

• for increased mineral and vitamin requirements such as during growth, intensive sports, heavy exercise, pregnancy, lactation and in old age
• in case of fatigue, lethargy, performance weakness, recovery after illness
• for horses that are too thin or have a poor appetite
• as a supplement to hay, haylage and grazing
• as a supplement to or replacement of concentrates

Application

• for all breeds of horses, at any age
• as a valuable supplement to hay, haylage and outdoor grazing
• to replace concentrated feed containing cereals

• Recreation: 150g per 100kg body weight per day, supplemented with Pre-Active or Natural base
• Sport: 200g per 100kg bodyweight per day, supplemented with Pre-Active or Natural base
• Young horses: 300g per 100kg body weight per day, supplemented with Pre-Active or Natural base.

The amount of feed should be adjusted according to the age and daily energy requirements of your horse or pony.

Alfalfa cubes contain no added vitamins or minerals. It may therefore be advisable to add a Balancer to the feed.
